US banks in UK to snub calls to chop bonuses

Analysts expect Goldman Sachs will distribute around 43 per cent of revenues in pay and bonuses to staff, up from 39 per cent last year, while Morgan Stanley will splash out almost 50 per cent.

US charges London asset manager

The debt in question is a Nigerian government warrant, a type of security in which the Nigerian government would make semiannual payments to holders based on the price of oil. The warrant was one of the two largest holdings of the fund, prosecutors said.
